Which foods accelerate fat burning? When searching for answers to questions like this, we may encounter incorrect information. Perhaps we have assumed that one misinformation is true for a long time… We did our research to put an end to this situation! We are ready to share with you the information we have gained about the correct known mistakes about healthy eating

1. Are Grains Harmful?

Many people cut grains out of their lives when they start a diet or continue with their normal diet. They think that removing bread and similar foods from their diet will be beneficial for weight loss or staying fit. However, this is extremely wrong… Of course, it would be a useful step to reduce pastry foods such as white bread, pastry, cookies whenever possible. But we must definitely include the grains rich in fiber and minerals in our menus. Because our body needs a certain carbohydrate  level. Carbohydrates meet 45% of our daily energy. In other words, you can consume whole grain bread instead of white bread and add oats to your meals.

2. Meal Hopping?

If you think its okay to skip at least one meal a day, you should give it up immediately.  Not eating regularly will encourage your body to increase weight as it will slow down your metabolism. You should take care not to skip your meals by controlling the portion sizes. In this way, your metabolism is activated and becomes suitable for burning calories. You can increase the feeling of satiety and stop unnecessary calorie intake by eating fiber and protein-rich throughout the day.


3. The evening is the 6pm limit?

One of the well-known mistakes about healthy eating is not eating anything after 6pm.  The body mechanism of all of us works differently. Each individual's sleep patterns are different. For this reason, we cannot talk about the same time zone for everyone about not eating.  Actually, the reason for stopping food intake after 6pm is less movement in the evenings. Eating heavy foods close to bedtime will strain your metabolism. Based on this situation, it is sufficient to consume foods that are light to digest 2 hours before sleep.

4. Are Other Drinks Instead of Water?

At least 2 liters of water a day! We emphasize this issue whenever necessary. Because water has great importance in our lives.  When you neglect to drink water during the day, you should not think that you are closing the gap by drinking tea, coffee or other drinks instead. No drink is a substitute for water. Even the opposite, Drinks like tea and coffee cause your body to dehydrate. For this reason, we do not separate water from our side and say at least 2 liters of water every day.  

 

5. Are All Fats Harmful?

It is actually a big mistake to think that all fatty foods are harmful. We need fat to have a healthy body. Generally, diets that contain low fat or mainly fat-free foods negatively affect our health. Researches showed that it achieves the expected result more easily with diets with sufficient amount of fat compared to diets with low fat amount. You can use some olive oil in salads to include in your meal or choose coconut oil for your morning omelet.

6. Are Probiotics Always Beneficial? 

Probiotics have been included in our lives for a healthy diet recently.  Is this supplement that regulates the digestive system useful for everyone? Probiotic taken without the necessary controls can damage our digestive system. Our metabolism may be sensitive to this supplement and therefore beneficial bacteria in the intestines may be lost. If you think you should use probiotics, it would be healthier to consult a specialist first.

7. Feeding a Single Type of Food?

We say no to a diet with the same foods.  Diets aiming a uniform diet should be far from our lives. We must provide vitamins and proteins that our body needs to take by consuming sufficient amounts of different foods… We should include foods rich in fiber, protein and minerals in every meal. Meat, chicken, fish, grain, legumes, fruit and vegetables. All these must be in our lives. Only in this way can we easily reach the diet we target.
