Shalimar
garden:
The word
Shalimar has ‘Arabic’ or ‘Persian’ origin. It is located near Baghbanpura in
Lahore. Shalimar Gardens were placed in
the list of world Heritage sites in Danger by the world heritage committee in
2000. It has Almond, Apricot, Apple Cherry and many more trees which attract
the visitor’s attention.

Jahangir:
Tomb of
Jahangir is also located in Lahore. It is the mausoleum built for Mughal
emperor Jahangir in 17 century.

Minar-e-Pakistan:
It is a National
monument of Pakistan. It is the site where the Lahore resolution was passed on
23 March 1940. In the remembrance of that day that minar was built. It is also popular
tourist attraction.
