What is healthy lifestyle?

 

A way of living in which a person have low risk of illness and disease.it can also allow you to have a better quality of life. Researchers from Harvard T.H Chan School of public health have conducted a thorough study of health habits on a huge number people for a long period of time. The NHS took 78000 women and 40000 men and collects the data for 34years and 28years respectively. The took the five areas to check the impact on healthy living.

  •         Smoking
  •         Alcohol intake

 

Healthy diet:

Having a balanced diet in your routine is the key to health. Vegetables, fruits, nuts, healthy fats, omega 3, fatty acids are good choices. Limit the intake of sugar and salt. Take fiber rich foods. Choosing and adding the right selection in your diet can lead you to a healthy living.

Physical activity:

Studies also shows that staying active can make you feel happy and when you are happy you feel more positive vibes. Eating in healthy and happy environment enrich the effects of food of you. Exercise boosts the immune system that will help you in living a healthy life.

Obesity:

It is a serious health concern. Excess body weight can put load over the heart, bones and muscles. It also leads to other health issues like blood pressure, sugar, breast cancer gallbladder disease. Obesity can be caused by the unhealthy and excess eating. Family history is also a part.  On the scale is it defined as the normal body mass index (BMI) which is 18.5 to 24.9.

Smoking:

“Smoking is injurious to health” that slogan is very old and famous and sometimes printed on the drugs packages. Well there is no “healthy amount” of smoking”. So in healthy lifestyle there is no smoking.

Alcohol intake:

Drinking alcohol is not safe. There is a measured value of alcohol that women can take according to the research 5 to 15 grams per day for women and 5 to 30 grams per day for men. Drinking alcohol regularly can effects many brain functions like emotions, thinking, and judgment. It also affects the motor skills like balance, slurred speech and slower reaction.  Drinking alcohol empty stomach cans higher the effects of alcohol.

Does healthy lifestyle makes a difference?

Healthy habits can change the life of a person. According to the data that was conducted people who have these habits live happy and longer life. People with none of these habits are more likely to die prematurely with cancer or any other disease. By having these habits 2 years of bonus they get on their life. More healthy habits more the life span simple is that.
