SAIF-UL-MALUK LAKE:

It is situated in kaghan valley KPK. It is one of the most beautiful and highest lakes in Pakistan. Its altitude is more than10000 feet. Snow-capped mountains and glaciers enhance the beauty of the lake. Many interesting stories are linked with that lake. You can reach the lake through jeep as the road is not for cars. Many adventurers like to stay there in camps to feels the beauty of starry sky at night.

ATTABAD LAKE:

It is in Hunza valley, Gilgit Baltistan. The altitude of this lake is 8398 feet. It is also called as Gojal lake due to the town name Gojal in Hunza. It is a natural lake that was came into the existence due to the landslide in 2010. When a rock blocked the passage of river and created Attabad lake. It is the biggest lake in Baltistan. Attabad lake is a great attraction for tourists. The blue water in lake has 358 feet depth.

SATPARA LAKE:

It is located in Sakardu, Gilgit Baltistan. Having the altitude of 8650 feet. It is spread 2.5 kilometer on the ground with fresh water. The fresh water of lake feeds the Satpara dam throughout the Sakardu valley. The lake is worth watching in winters but road are closed so make sure to visit it in summers.

RATTIGALI LAKE:

It is situated in Azad Jamu Kashmir with the altitude of 12130 feet. It is high altitude lake run by glacial water from Surrounding Mountains. Green grass, cool wind and cold breeze make Lake Worth seeing. 2.5 hours are needed to reach Dowarian base camp and then 1 hour hiking to reach that lake.

SHEOSAR LAKE:

Deosai plains has this lake. It has 13589 feet of altitude. You can witness the beauty of lake if you visit deosai national park. Which is located within the deosai Plateau. Which is the highest Plateau in the world. You can get there through 4*4. The best time to visit deosai is spring.

 

ANSOO LAKE:

It is also located in Kaghan valley, KPK with the altitude of 13927 feet. The shape of this lake is like a tear drop due to which it is called Ansoo lake. Best place to camp here. First you reach the Saif-ul-Maluk lake and then with the 1 hour of horse riding you get there. It was discovered in 1993 when a low-flying Aircraft of Pakistan Air Force spotted the lake.

KARAMKAR LAKE:

In Ishkoman valley Karambar lake is situated and 14016 feet altitude. It is the second highest lake in Pakistan and ranked 33^rd highest in the world. It is between KPK and Gilgit-Baltistan. The second name of Karamkar lake is Qurumbar lake. It is 180feet deep. It also has very big tourist attraction.
