Pasta, which is the main food of Italian cuisine, first appeared in Sicily in 1154. There are many varieties of pasta that is consumed with sauce or plain. It has names such as Butterfly, Penne, Spaghetti. Now a days it is one of the most consumed foods in Pakistan. 


 

What Are the Types and Names of Pasta? 

  

Pastas come to the fore with many different names and features. Some people prepare these pasta types in the classical way, while others treat them with very special sauces.

It is the thinnest and longest wiry pasta of Italian origin. With the right boiling time, it does not burn and does not hold the bottom, it is consumed with wonderful sauces.

How is Pasta Made? 

Pasta is one of the easiest types of food to make. Pasta, which can be consumed both simply and to be flavored with additional foods, is among the indispensable dishes of students and singles homes and employees. Pasta can be made in a very short time, either in the oven or in a pot. 


 

How Many Minutes Does Pasta Cook in? 

While cooking pasta for the first time, 8 glasses of water are left to boil. After the water boils, 250 grams of pasta is left in the boiling water and 1 flat tablespoon of salt is added. You can prevent the pasta from sticking together by mixing the pasta 3-5 times and the stick pasta 7-8 times after you put it in the water. 

  

A little more than half a glass of oil is poured into the pasta and the pasta is waited for 10-15 minutes to cook. A large and deep pot should be preferred for cooking pasta. The water should not exceed 3/4 of the pot. If you add less water, the pasta will not cook, it will stick to the bottom of the pot. Salt should be thrown into the pasta after the water boils. 

  

By adding salt to the pasta boiled in plenty of water, you can ensure that the pasta is not delicious. You need to adjust the salt of the pasta to 1 tablespoon per 5 liters of water. You should not close the lid of the pot immediately after you put the pasta in the water, and when you put the pasta in the water, you can start mixing immediately to prevent the pasta from sticking to each other.
